Post-Production Manager

NextGen Climate is currently seeking a tech savvy, creative, self-starting editing and animation professional with an eye for detail and a track record of producing amazing results to serve as Post-Production Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  “Essential functions” are primarily job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation made by the employer, under the direction of the Digital Content Director.

  1. Execute animation and video editing projects with attention to detail on deadline driven timelines in support of national and state level campaigns.
  2. Work with video producer, content director, and communications team to craft style and tone, build storyboards, and animate and composite videos.
  3. Take initiative, work independently and also be comfortable working on a team.
  4. Create, alter and composite media assets for a wide range of digital projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  1. A bachelor’s degree.
  2. 1-3 years of expertise in film production.
  3. Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and other CS programs and editing software is a requisite.
  4. A complementary toolkit including motion graphic, color correction, audio and compositing software such as Cinema 4D, Shake, Logic is a strong plus.
  5. The ability to produce on short and rapid timelines is a must.
  6. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on a team.
  7. Demonstrate clear ability to derive a sound narrative with the content provided.
  8. A strong work ethic and demonstrate consistent attention to detail.
  9. Enthusiasm for politics/environmental issues.
  10. An ability to interact with a variety of departments.
